In 2015, the book “Zhang Chunqiao’s home letters from prison” was published in Hong Kong, consisting of 58 letters and one long interview with his eldest daughter Weiwei.

Due to the strict censorship of the so-called “Communist” Party of China, most contents were about daily subjects, these excerpts are a few exceptions.

This second edition of the Selected Works of Wang Hongwen is released on 6 December 2025, marking the 90th anniversary of Comrade Wang Hongwen’s birth.

To commemorate this occasion, we present a newly prepared English translation of the collection first published by the Shanghai Anti-Revisionist Publishing House on 4 January 2022.

It is with the absolute greatest pleasure that we publish the first volume of the Selected Works of Zhang Chunqiao. We have translated over 40 different pieces and compiled them into this long 400 page volume. This is our most ambitious project so far, and we have enjoyed every single second of working on it.
